Bunker’s Hill State School kicks off the New Year with new footy posts!
After selling ice blocks every Friday for most of 2020, the Year 6 Project Club were able to purchase a set of football posts for the use of Bunker’s Hill students. The football posts are a combination set of AFL and NRL, allowing students the choice of playing either code of football, in addition to soccer, which has been a favourite for many years now.
The students wish to thank Bunker’s Hill P and C committee who assisted the Project Club, with purchasing a second set of posts, to complete both ends of the field.
Many students are enjoying using the new posts at play times and their kicking skills are improving greatly, just in time for this year’s football season!
