On Saturday the 16th February, I went to
Pittsworth Showgrounds to compete for the school in my first ever Interschool
Equestrian competition. I am the only
member of the Bunker’s Hill State School Equestrian team. I was a little bit nervous at first but then
I got over the nerves. My horse is
called MJ and overall we came 3rd out of ten competitors in my age
group. I received a sash and some horse care products for MJ.
The Interschool Equestrian is a competition that includes
dressage, jumping, eventing and show horse.
The aims of the competition are to help educate young people in
horsemanship and horse management, and to promote sportsmanship.
