School Leaders Bunker's Hill climb

Year 6 Leaders' Bunker’s Hill Climb
“Climbing Together, We Will Succeed” is a motto that describes the achievements of our students at Bunker’s Hill State School.  Every year the Year 6 Leaders get the opportunity to climb Bunker’s Hill, which is located on a local farm across from the school.
Parents and family members are also invited to climb with the Year 6 students as an end of year activity to celebrate finishing primary school.  This year, the climbers set off at 7:30am to beat the heat and flies!  Once at the top, they celebrated with non-alcoholic champagne.  The view from the peak looks out over all of Westbrook, Athol and surrounds.
This a great culminating activity for the school leaders, and is a highlight of their school year.
