On Monday 18th March, the students and staff at Bunker’s Hill State School went troppo for the day.  Everyone was encouraged to wear their favourite Hawaiian shirt, beachwear or tropical print clothes.  The school Project Club chose to support the Townsville School Flood Appeal and thought up the idea of wearing tropical bright colours as a fundraising activity.  Students were asked to bring a gold coin donation and a total of $355 was raised.  The school was a sea of bright colours on the day. It was a great way to support the students and schools who are doing it tough due to the recent floods in Townsville.
